Erica Cerra was born in Toronto in Canada on the 31st of October 1979. The most well-known character she has played is the role of deputy Jo Lupo from the Syfy television series Eureka. Cerra is from Italian origin as well as a native of Vancouver, British Columbia. Cerra became interested in acting as early as eight years old and appeared in many commercials when she first started. The acting career she was pursuing was cut short for a while. In 2001, however, she returned in the business at age 22 years old. Khondabi said that Joey and she met at Greenwood Christian School, and they became close friends for a number of years prior to beginning dating in high school senior year. Howard the student, who shifted from Irmo to Dutch Fork High School and graduated from at Dutch Fork, was a close friend of Khondabi. Khondabi and Joey then began dating. Khondabi was a graduate of Emerald High School in 2007 and the University of South Carolina in 2011, obtaining a broadcast journalism degree. She also minored in entertainment and sports. Joey is also a USC graduate. Liam is their dog. Khondabi told us that Joey and she are both foodies. One of her favorite dishes at home is onion rings that are served at Dixie Drive-In. Khondabi said: I'm someone who is always curious. In elementary school I was a journalist who conducted interviews with educators on our school's news show. I also was the anchor for the school's daily news headlines. Our news program at Oakland Elementary was called WOAK. Following college, Khondabi said her first big gig as a television news reporter was at WAGT which was in Augusta Georgia. Khondabi told her that she worked as a television reporter for about six years. In the months following Augusta I was a reporter as an anchor for WOWK on Charleston West Virginia and then Columbus Ohio.
