Kim Victoria Cattrall born 21 August 1956, is an British Canadian actress from Canada. Best known for the part of Samantha Jones in the HBO Sex and the City series in which she was nominated for five Emmy Award nominations and the four Golden Globe Award, winning the Golden Globe 2002 for the best supporting actor. She reprised the part in two of the Sex and the City films (2008) as well as Sex and the City 2 (2009). Her main role includes Police Academy, Big Trouble from Little China Mannequin, and Porky's from the 1980s. The name Kim Cattrall and the first thing that strikes the mind is her character in the role of Samantha Jones in the popular HBO television show, Sex & the City. The character as Samantha Jones played by noted actress Cattrall was a pivotal event in her career. The sitcom helped make Cattrall an international star, not only among viewers in the area and internationally. Anita Ekberg...................Anita Ekberg was a Swedish actress who appeared in several European as well as American films. Her most famous role is in the comedy-drama film La Dolce Vita. The film was awarded an Oscar and a Golden Palm at the Cannes Film Festival in 1960 and was also a commercial as well as critical hit. Before she began her acting career as a model, she worked as the Swedish fashion model. She won in the Miss Sweden competition. Following her move in the US she started acting in several movies, playing small characters. Her first film credit was Venusian in Abbott and Costello Go to Mars. Following her appearance in Blood Alley, she won the Golden Globe Award in the category of most promising youngcomer.
